Status Changes
Status Change forms need to be filled out and delivered to the Yakima MLS office via email ([email protected]), fax (509-453-9716), or in person.
All status changes to a listing in FlexMLS must be submitted to the MLS of Yakima on an MLS of Yakima Status Change Form, this includes but is not limited to pending listings, "back on market" requests, seller withdrawal requests, seller contract end date extension or expiration requests, closing an MLS listing, and or withdrawn back to active requests.
The following status changes can ONLY be done by Yakima MLS Staff:
- Closing a listing
- Change of Contract End Date
- Cancelling a listing
You can change the status, price, or withdraw the listing on your own. But you must provide a copy of the MLS of Yakima Status Change form which authorizes the change to the MLS office immediately before or after the change has been made to the listing in FlexMLS.
Status changes for closed listings are required to be reported to the Yakima MLS by the next business day at 5:00 PM. All closings that are reported after 5 pm on the next business day will incur MLS fines of $10.00 per day for the first business day and $20.00 per business day for every day thereafter. ALL MLS fines must be paid within 30-days of issuance.
All other status changes must also be reported to the MLS by 5 pm on the next business day to avoid MLS fines and administrative sanctions.
The MLS and MLS Board of Directors take MLS status changes very seriously, as they are an integral part of maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the MLS of Yakima.
